    Walled garden histrion simply swell

  2. Erstwhile Employee, more 3 years

    Pros

Excellent product, world-class benefits, higher up boilerplate pay, relaxed dress code, growth opportunities, and friendly atmosphere. I love the management philosophy of Leadership, Leverage, Results. Early on in every position, the employee is asked "what is your next play." The company is ever looking to determine your side by side role and opportunity.

    Cons

LinkedIn hires on full-blooded and age. Virtually managers are nether 30, directors are under 40, and anyone over 40 is a rarity. Important positions will be staffed based on the university the employee graduated from, rather than piece of work experience. Sales process is being created by recent Ivy League grads who take never sold. Some sales and service director positions take been filled with individuals who are extremely smart only have limited to no experience selling and retaining. The attitude is if you are smart, you tin can lead any team no matter if you have zero experience doing your staff's bodily trade. The millennial focus is highlighted in many aspects of the culture. At the 2016 global sales organization meeting, messaging was all about "you are the best-of-the-best" and that LinkedIn would not be successful without the individual job you do. Elevation performers were highlighted in front end of thousands of employees. As the employee came to the stage to receive their well deserved award, videos of colleagues commending them were shown. Interspersed among work-centric kudos, the awardee'southward parents were shown in the videos congratulating their child and stating how proud they were of them. For a non-millennial, information technology was weird to see their parents congratulating their kid in a work setting. Only this is also a company who holds Bring Your Parents to Piece of work Day.

  3. Sometime Employee, more than than i year

    Pros

Benefits - health insurance, gratuitous meals, COVID stipend

    Cons

No up mobility Managers had 'favorites' who progressed upward In 2021, over 15+ NAMER team members left the visitor entirely due to poor Managers and no pay increase They brought in external hires instead of promoting longtime, internal employees (which acquired the mass wave of people leaving) Managers we're not supporting/active in assisting team members who wanted to move internally (did non offer to assist in whatever way) When team members left in droves, their work was dispersed to the remaining squad for months on stop, with 0 increment in compensation Additionally, we were tasked with training new team members who were 1-2 levels above the states (yet they were younger than the states) Compensation team had a meeting with our team and presented a slide chart confirming we were getting paid below tech industry average

    Cons

    1. Depression pay - if you're looking for the highest offer, this won't exist it. And once yous're here, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get decent raises two. There are two types of employees: really astonishing star employees that work their butts off and the deadweight. It's about 50/50. The dead weight are non smart or motivated, and drag united states of america all downward iii. "Remainder and vest" is the motto, which is great for some and not for others. Working here can be a bit boring, and you lot may non abound as much as you would in other companies. Your career can plateau if you lot spend too long here. iv. Leadership. Yikes. Enquire anyone who has been hither since pre-2020 when Jeff was CEO and watch them heavy sigh or grimace

    Pros

Swell benefits, splendid bonus structure, lots of perks and very engaged employee experience.

    Cons

Briefing room campsite outs would displace scheduled meetings, the offices can exist loud. Not like shooting fish in a barrel to accept a sales team being or next to y'all when your analyzing information. Very distracting.
